Custom Cycling Shoe Pricing There are two levels of custom shoes: PRECISION fit and full CUSTOM. Both levels are available for every style: Super Crit, Tri, MTB, Randonee, Track, and The Fang (cyclocross). EVERY pair of D2 shoes comes with custom orthotics; they are that important! Custom cleat placement is included for all shoes. Continental USA shipping charges are included in the prices. There's a $300 deposit fee for your Fit Kit, which applies to your total shoe price. Precision Fit$975 Includes custom orthotics. Level One custom lasts; Custom colors; Custom cleat drilling and much more... We take all of your individual right and left foot measurements and select the appropriate lasts for each of your feet. We have 41 sizes and 9 widths in 2 different last types, curved and straight. That's a staggering 369 different sizes and widths in 2 last styles totaling 738 lasts !! Next we will add modifications to the last to create a custom last just for you. Most last modifications are included at this level. Examples would be a custom toe line or a prominent 5th met head, minor bunions, and bone spurs. After you place your deposit, you'll be shipped a Fit Kit, including foam molds and simple instructions. Once we receive your Fit Kit back, you'll get a call from us to review your order in detail. We take the time to insure that you get precisely what you've got in mind and understand your options. You can choose from a huge range of colors for each part of your shoes. Your Fit Kit data will provide us with all of the needed information to build your shoes and to accurately calculate the optimal cleat position. Your shoes will be designed and constructed for each foot, considering your riding style, particular biomechanics, and fit issues. Plus we work with you, even after delivery, to fine tune your fit. Full custom shoe$400 one-time up-charge. This is for riders with very unusual feet! If you have trouble buying normal shoes, full CUSTOM may be for you. The one-time up-charge of $400 covers the cost to fabricate custom lasts and make the patterns for your shoes, above and beyond the base price of $975. After your first full CUSTOM shoes have been made, the next shoes you order will be priced the same as our PRECISION fit shoes. Please call for details.
